Antimicrobial usage (DDD/1000 patient days) on medical wards at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon was compared pre and post implementation of Firstline.
Ten months following the launch of Firstline, a user satisfaction survey was delivered to SHA employees. Data from 182 respondents indicated that users are highly satisfied and consider Firstline to be a useful resource.
Nine months following the launch of Firstline, there were 733 active users who accessed the app an average of 1.4 times per day. Active users were composed of a wide range of healthcare professionals.
The most commonly accessed guidelines (orange), pathogens (green) and antimicrobials (purple) are displayed.
