Firstline is proud to support the NYC DOHMH in a city-wide initiative to improve access to regional antibiogram data and deliver outpatient guidance to all providers in New York.
Creating a snapshot of antimicrobial resistance across the region, NYC DOHMH and Firstline have amalgamated data from participating NYC institutions to create a city-wide and borough-specific resource that is freely accessible via Firstline to all providers.
NYC DOHMH has developed outpatient prescribing guidance informed by locally relevant and actionable epidemiological data derived from the regional antibiogram. This strategic approach ensures that the antibiogram data is useful and relevant for all healthcare providers in New York, so the entire healthcare community can benefit from the collaborative effort and data shared by participating hospitals.
A grant in support of this NYC citywide stewardship initiative with Firstline was provided through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) program Strengthening HAI/AR Program Capacity (SHARP) Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) supplemental grant.
Outpatient guidance in support of this initiative is provided by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
